Ambience in Sungai Siput

Friends, I'm writing this from Sungai Siput. The election process is going fine in all the polling stations here. The supporters of Barisan Nasional & Parti Sosialis Malaysia(standing on PKR's ticket) are seem to persuade anyone who walks into the polling station right at the entrance. But I didn't sense the presence of the independant candidate's supporters, or maybe they are in different places. I was at S.M.K Methodist, where BN candidate Dato' Seri S.Samy Vellu voted earlier in the morning & could see guys with orange 'Makkal Shakti' t-shirts telling the sorrows of the HINDRAF detainees & others, in order to pull votes from the multi-racial crowd. Voters also seem to perform their duty without any rush or difficulty. The only factor was the hot sun earlier, but now the cloud is most likely calling the rain. I am waiting for the counting to begin at 5pm. I'l update then. Photos will be updated later too. Updates on various places can be obtained from Malaysiakini.com Any updates from other places, please e-mail me. Thank you. Happy Voting! :-)
